So I had a colonoscopy last Monday as I had endo shaved off my bowels years ago but for the past year had bowel bleeds when due on, on and coming off once again. My colonoscopy was clear and there is nothing in my colon that should be causing bleeds yet every monthly and sometimes not, I get a smallish amount of dark red to black blood. Should I ask the GP for a scan to check my smaller intestines?

I would say it’s still worth sharing your concerns with your dr but try not to worry. I too have had endo shaved from my bowel and had ongoing problems like you. I had a colonoscopy back in may and they removed a couple benign polyps but said they wouldn’t have caused the bleeding. An endo consultant I’d spoken with in April said to me once you’ve suffered with endo it’s not that unusual to still get bleeding from the bowel.
Def still get yourself checked by GP but good that your colonoscopy was clear.xx
