Can endometriosis return so quickly?

Hello,

Hope everyone's not doing too badly.

I had a laparoscopy in June with my endometriosis excised and all my symptoms went away. Then since Monday this week, I've been in constant pain again and it's exactly the same symptoms as before. It seems ridiculously quick for me to be having problems again as in the past it's always been at least a year.

How quickly have you had symptoms return after surgery?

I had my first excision surgery in November 2016 and my symptoms had returned by late January 2017.

I had my second surgery early last month and so far so good - although I'm not counting my chickens yet!
