Hello, I had my first lap last week and had endo removed from the uterosacral ligaments on both sides. Generally I’m not feeling too bad but am finding my I’m quite tender in the sacrum/coccyx area. Am assuming this is bruised but wondering if anyone else had this after uterosacral ligament endo removal and if it got better?
Thanks.

It may be nerve pain and if so it should settle. I had it quite badly after my excision surgery. Do you get tingling in your legs?
I've bought a special Coccyx u shaped foam cushion on Amazon with a split in it. It works a treat to take the pressure off the Coccyx and I take it everywhere now.
Thanks for your reply. That’s reassuring and makes sense. I have nerve damage anyway and have had some sacral pain in the past.
How are you? I’ve seen you post on here a lot but usually to support others who are younger yet I know you’ve had and are still having a really tough time. Am here for you if you need an ear.
It's a long slow recovery for me and a slog building up my hours at work. Just this week 4 1/2 months since the op there are a few signs that GERD, the last of my horrible post op complications, may be starting to improve, which will make my life much more bearable so I am clinging onto that. Dyspareunia is still a big issue and I see my Consultant again in 2 weeks, but I don't think there is much more clinically to be done. It's down to time. And as well as the physical, lots of emotional scars still need to heal before I get a sense of what "new normal" is for me.
