Hi
Just a quick one.. does everyone get offered Prostap injections or is it a certain criteria that it’s recommended for?
I’m just thinking ahead as my op is on weds and I’m getting paranoid about how many needles.
Xx

I think it goes through stages of helping with pain so pill first pain meds then other avenues on same level then moving up and up depending on circumstances I could be wrong but I think that's how it works xx
I had prostap 3 months before my op to shut things down ready for my op. Not sure why you would need it afterwards.
I personally wouldn't recommend it from my experience as the side effects were awful and lasted 7 months in total.
If you haven't been offered it you don't need it. Depending on what you op is for! I had a full hysterectomy.
Good luck with your op 👍
Hi. I am on Prostrap injections first one last week have been diagnosed severe endometriosis and frozen pelvis involving bowel. They wont operate so Prostrap prescribed to shut everything down and stop from spreading further.
Ok thanks a lot, I think I get the idea of it now xx
