Hi. Was wondering if any of you ladies with endometriosis suffer with fatigue? I’m still waiting for my laparoscopy but everything seems to point to endo. But I am getting really exhausted, also having trouble sleeping which obviously makes it a vicious circle
Fatigue : Hi. Was wondering if any of you... - Endometriosis UK
Fatigue
I have the worst tiredness everyday, it was so bad yesterday I wanted to cry as I was so tired but come bed time which is 11pm, I can't get to sleep till 1ish then I'm waking up during the night. My tiredness got worse after my 4th lap several months back.
Big hugs. I developed chronic fatigue in the run up to my diagnosis, it worsened after my diagnostic lap and I never really shook it off. I was sleeping all weekend to just survive working and I ended up going off sick with exhaustion 3 weeks before my excision op
I was actually diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome before my diagnosis of endo 10yrs ago. To me it was the endo causing all my symptoms then and now. I literally sleep 12hrs a night and wake up knackered. It’s a chronic long term problem for me. It’s horrid x
Fatigue and endo are a pretty usual combination. Think it’s to do with hormones but also fact endo is an auto immune disease that just means body is constantly fighting the infection so wears you out.
Side effects of low mood and depression can also cause tiredness and problems with sleeping so it all kind of mounts up!
Fatigue is the worst symptom I have. I get awful periods and pain but the fatigue and coldness are by far the worst. I’ve had one three-month-lasting Prostap injection to try and help this but it’s not at all. My next is due but I’m unsure if I want it.
