I just want someone to give me an in-depth answer to why pregnancy is hard for some people with endo. All I’ve read is that it can make it harder to conceive but no more explanation.. I’ve tried for 3 years with my bf, I’m just so confused.

There isn't extensive research into endo and infertility unfortunately. There are a few theories/possible reasons. One is that the endo releases things (toxins or hormones or something like that) that interfere with conception, another is that tubes can be blocked by the endo or if endo is on the ovaries this can impact on egg quality and release. I managed to conceive naturally with endo after 2 years of trying. I miscarried (there is some research to say that endo increases the risk of miscarriage, but equally research to say that it doesn't), and haven't conceived again since. We are another year down the line and just had excision to hopefully improve our chances. I had it on both ovaries and one ovary had adhered to my pelvic wall. So no wonder I have struggled really. I've been told excision is the best way to improve fertility in endo cases. Have you had excision/waiting for it? Do you know which areas you have effected by endo? X

I dont think anyone really knows. It doesnt really matter what stage either. Im infertile for sure due to endometriosis as its damaged both my tubes. Although ive been offered IVF so am i really infertile? I dont know, not tried IVF. I have a friend who had 3 cycles of IVF and didnt concieve! Then theres people with severe endo who concieve without a problem. Only 40% of infertile women have endo. So possibly other things at play! I had a pregnency in my mid teens but had a misscariage. Never got pregnant since and hadnt used contreception since i was 21, now 32! Its a mystery!

Hi everyone. How is it going? Is everyone here facing infertility? That sure is unfortunate. I sure wish that wasn't the case. As fate would have it, I am in the same boat too. I am infertile. I am desperate for a solution though. I have tried IUI. 3 cycles have failed. Now, we think that we need to change our strategy. Maybe IVF is the answer. Can anyone explain the difference between the two? Also, which one is more effective? Thanks in advance. Sending baby dust to all of you. Good luck with your ttc journeys.

I need to allotment An little illumination looking into ovulation following a miscarriage(mc). I would like you Figure it educational. That human body heals exact fast following An mc. It’s, for the most part, said that it could take between 2-4 weeks to the female with ovulating then afterward a mc. I have the particular encounter with this excessively awful. Clinched alongside my case, it might have been 6 weeks. Therefore, recognizing that I’m fine furthermore healthy, An minimal variety won’t settle on any Contrast. We the sum bring separate particular figure recuperating forces in any case. An alternate inquiry that pestered me might have been that will I ever get pregnant once more. Also, that whether I’ll sit tight to beginning it out once more (TTC). On this, my specialist said that it will be superbly could be allowed. She said we could do a reversal on TTC immediately. That might have been consoling. I imply mc maybe not a great thing Anyhow in any event we need even now an opportunity with an attempt. What whether required we lost this possibility excessively. I thank lord to not bringing this risk away from us.

Hi Zara! How are you doing dear? First of all, I'm extremely sorry for the situation you're in. Well, Endometriosis is such a common and huge disease in terms of pregnancy. Well, I think you should get it treated ASAP! Otherwise, I've seen women wasting years due to it. Well, you're still young but, I also would advise you that if you get to realize somehow that you can't have its natural way. So, you and your bf should get another way! I mean that you both shouldn't waste years of a TTC. I've seen people TTC for years and not able to conceive. Well, I don't want to scare or leave you hopeless. But, I think that sometimes you have to accept the fate. So, yeah! Well, I am also just like you; unable to conceive and I'm opting for an IVF later this year. So, I think you should also get your stuff together!

hello Zara, as for your query I want to highlight few facts. Endometriosis is a disease, in which the inside lining of uterus started to grow outside the uterus, sometimes on Fallopian tubes or ovaries. The endometriosis further leads to cyst which causes severe pain and inflammation during mc. The problem further lead to many other problems, including infertility, pain during intercourse, urination, bowel movements, and also sometimes excessive bleeding. It is suggested by various physicians and gynecologists to seek medical help in case there are any symptoms because it can have severe after effects, if neglected.

As far as pregnancy is concern, if you are not conceiving through natural ways there is no harm in getting an opinion from an open clinic for an IVF. Taking consultation will help you in relieving your stress and will help you in clearing up confusion regarding IVF. Take care and do take a visit for an IVF consultation.

I got pregnant naturally with endo very quickly - I didn’t know I had it until I tried again. No luck. Had a hsg where they put dye through your tubes and my endo had seeped into my tubes making them slow to spill, sometimes they can become blocked which will prevent your egg from travelling down and meeting the sperm. So if I get pregnant it may be ectopic or maybe my tubes are too past it and there’s no hope other than ivf. Xx

Hey there! I hope you're doing good. Well, it's a very different question. Yes, I've heard it too. People only say that it makes conceiving hard but give no further explanation. Basically, Endometriosis is a painful, chronic disease that affects millions of women and girls all over the world every year. Every month the tissues undergo building, break downing and shedding. The normal mechanism is this that the menstrual blood and other bodies come out from the uterus by the vagina but in the case of endometriosis, they do not have any pathway to come out and leave the uterus. Then this thing causes internal bleeding, the breakdown of blood, tissue lesions and inflammation. This leads to the pain, infertility, scar tissue formation, adhesions, and bowel problems. Women With Endometriosis Have Greater Risk Of Pregnancy Complications, Including Miscarriage and Ectopic Pregnancy. A recent study in the UK has found that women with endometriosis are more likely to experience complications during and after pregnancy, including an increased risk of miscarriage, and ectopic pregnancy. You didn't explain your case here. If you have mild endometriosis, then a laparoscopy may improve your chances of a successful pregnancy. Your specialist may also suggest flushing out your blocked fallopian tubes. This procedure is an alternative to surgery and is usually successful. Surgery can also help. I hope that this helped you. Take care of yourself and stay healthy.

Hello everyone. Endometriosis can lead to infertility for a lot of people but not always, there are four stages of endo and there are cases where women with stage four can get pregnant with no problems and there are cases where women with stage one have to get help from fertility specialists, Endometriosis is a disease that makes no sense and goes by no rules, they don't know what causes it or how to get rid or it and the symptoms for everyone can vary, one reason endo can cause infertility is it could cover your ovaries which would lead to you not ovulating, but if it only covered one ovary you can still ovulate from the clear one, it can also block your tubes making it hard or impossible for the egg to travel, doctors also believe that the lesions give off hormones that can interfere with the egg attaching to your uterus, I have what they think is a low stage of endo I haven't had the surgery to diagnose it yet but its only in one ovary and both my tubes are clear, I have been trying to get pregnant for three years with no luck and my doctors think its the hormones that are being given off that are affecting me, There are few treatment options that range from having surgery to remove the endo to drugs such as continuous birth-control to help the growths slow there growing and possibly help them shrink by and another drug called Lupron which puts your body into menopause and blocks the estrogen that feeds the endo, Doctors are confident that these treatments will work to reduce the endo enough so that pregnancy can be achieved, the only time endo can compleatly make you infertile is if it has spread so far that the only treatment is a hystorectomy but a lot of women with stage for can still use the other treatment options and still have a chance to get pregnant.Good Luck.
