How do you deal with CFS?

Hi all,

so I've recently been diagnosed with CFS/ME after all blood work came back as normal. The doctor did mention fibromyalgia however i'm not sensitive to being touched so she said it's more likely to be cfs.

I'm suffering with scar tissue and nerve damage from pervious endo surgeries but also suffering with periods of extreme fatigue, brain fog, sore glands in armpit/throat, headaches, sore throats, tender spots on body.

However, recently i'm really suffering with my hips, legs, ankles and feet with shooting pain and aching and holding so much tension i'm cramping up like crazy and it all came in after a couple of hours shopping the previous day! I understand this is how it's going to be now and i'm going to feel fine sometimes and not other times but i'm just wondering how you ladies cope with it?

I'm a tattooist so if I don't tattoo I don't make money so time off isn't really an option unless i'm seriously feeling bad. Acupuncture, massage? Anything that might help!

Hey Mewbookitty, I have ME/CFS and they are now looking at an endo diagnosis for me. I find the following things help me; if I am having a bad cramps day, I will increase my salt intake (I don't know why) also routine is key, the first few days of a new routine where the worst but after that it does help. It's about learning about your symptoms I'm afraid, or atleast it was for me. Let me know if I can help at all. I have had it for roughly 12 years and it does settle over time x
