Hi, has anyone had any success controlling endo with diet? And it's improved their fertility? I know there's an 'endo diet' but it's so restrictive, and having struggled with an eating disorder in the past I'm really cautious about falling back down that path. I'm pretty lucky because I generally don't have endo symptoms, and don't get bad periods, only bad ovulation pain . Buuut the endo has impacted on my fertility, and after unsuccessfully ttc for 2.5 years I'm about to start ivf and want to make sure I'm doing everything I can to increase my chances of it working.

Endometriosis and diet
Hi there I recently was given the mini pill to control my symptoms but it hasn't agreed with me at all so I took the decision to stop taking it and try improving my diet to see if it made any difference and it definitely has to me. I felt so much better for it. I didn't follow any endo diet but just cut out processed foods and Pepsi chocolate crisps etc . Just generally eating healthy fruits veg wholewheat alternatives to pasta bread etc . I've fallen of the wagon after going on holidays and I am definitely paying for it now and am struggling with same symptoms again so I would say there's definitely something in it. I'm not sure with regards to fertility I also had ivf and have a beautiful 2 yr old now and at that time I pretty much followed the same diet as I did this time so I was as healthy as I could be and I like to think this helped in my conceiving . I wish you lots of luck xx
