Hi ladies

Hope your all well

I seem to get really bad aches and pains in joints hips back pelvis knees hands couple days after ovulation right through to period. Does anyone else and does anyone know why this happens? I'm 32 and feel like I'm. 70. It's really getting to me now. I'm ttc so not on any meds at this moment.

Thanks for any replies in advance.

😘

Yes sometimes when it's really bad I think iv got the. Flu that's when all my glands swell up too. My knees are feeling extremely achy and my hips also xx

Yeah I get that too! I do think it has something to do with endo probably all the hormones!! But I do have EDS as well so that's mainly why I get these aches and pains xx

Been doing some research and it seems low progesterone is the culprit. Sorry what's Eds? Sorry to hear you've got other health issues apart from endo as if endo doesn't cause enough problems xxx

Yeah I wouldn't be surprised if it is to do with low progesterone, hormonal imbalances can cause other issues unfortunately! That's alright, EDS stands for ehlers danlos syndrome and it is to do with your joints it's a hypermobility condition. Sometimes people with endo do have EDS so it might be worth reading up on the symptoms and seeing if they match yours! Normally the flu like symptoms come when it has flared up really bad unfortunately there isn't much that can be done I went physio not much help so I think its just managing it and knowing how to deal with it xxx

Oh God. Sounds really familiar. The other month everything swollen up my glands spleen and I was in agony they tested for mono but was clear so yeah definitely sounds like me I get flu symptoms a lot my body aches real bad. Never understood why. Thanks for that will defo have a check into it. What us women go through is nothing short if torture sometimes xxx

Yeah the whole glands swelling and flu symptom is EDS related!! I always used to get frustrated whenever I felt like that but now I know why you can get on with it more. No problem hope you get an answer soon it might be better to be referred to a rheumatologist they deal with EDS and other conditions related. I know tell me about it it's horrible never ending xxx
