I was wonderIng if anybody could help me. I had my last prostap injection on the 12th July 2017 this was My choice to stop as I was scared of cause lasting damage to my joints. Since I have stopped the injection my hot flushes and night sweats have been on another level! I wake up around 4/5 times a night... how long does it take until the hot flushes calm down completely? They appear to be even worse than when I was on the injection itself?
I have been given the pill I started this on Monday.
Any advice would be really appreciated. Thank you!

My answer is i don't know but if you find out let me know.
I had 1 injection in april that was to last 3/4 months whilst waiting for my hysterectomy. Surgery happend in july and I'm still having the hot flushes and night sweats now. Consultant said they normally do a repeat every 10 weeks to prevent the effect wearing off. As you can see mine hasn't 5 months after.
I'm at my wits end with it, the day time i can cope with just about but night time. Like yourself I'm up and down. I've been prescribed amitriptyline to help me sleep which they do but I'm still waking.
Hopefully your not as unfortunate as me and yours wears off soon.
