Cervix Query.. A cervix survey..

So, I'm not sure if this is Endo related or not... but where else can I talk to supportive women who know more about women's bodies than most GPs.. ( and it seems at times, my gyne consultant!)

I usually use a moon cup when I'm on, and as I was inserting it the other day, I realised that I haven't examined myself since having my mirena removed nearly a month ago.

I've found a lump of my cervix. It was previously smooth, it pretty new I think! It's a hard solid protruding lump, just on the curve of the top.

Google has caused nothing but panic and I just hope someone can shed some light or an explanation as to what it is and what to do next.

I'm 25, endo and PCOS, not yet had a smear test.

I'm so sorry ladies if it's s bit TMI but I could use some helpful words!

Definitely go to your gp and request a smear test, could be something sinister but it could also be like a knock/bruise/bump on your cervix from when they removed your coil, don't want to scare you because it could be absolutely nothing, but it's always better to be safe than sorry, x

Hi, I have 3 half pea sized lumps on my cervix that are quite hard. They don't hurt but I was really worried also. Turned out to be fine. I can't remember what they are called but harmless.

I would still get it checked anyway but just to reassure you it could be harmless x

Hi, could be cysts, but I would go and get it looked at, just to put your mind at rest.x

Hugs for your anxiety. That was the precise location of my Endo nodule I was terrified for a few days I can tell you when my GP first found it. Go to your GP and get it checked out. They will run a blood test to rule out any scary stuff.
