Worrying symptoms

I've been having numb burning hands and fingers , joint pain in knees elbows plus all over muscle pain and weakness I also have slurred speech occasionally does anyone else have these problems

Are you in any medication? They sound like stroke symptoms. I would call 111 or 999 for immediate advice and assessment to rule that out

I've been having these symptoms for a while I'm waiting to see a neurologist, at the moment I'm taking amptriptline ,xapain ,slow release morphine and oramorph for lumber spinal stenosis

I would seek advice sooner call your gp. In the patient info leaflet xapain is contra indicated (do not use) if you are using other strong opoid pain killers like oramorph so you should not really be on both together. Codeine is a opioid too.

Amitriptyline side effects in PIL are closer to what you describe. It mentions stroke "as a stop taking and contact your doctor immediately". You need to get proper advice.

Yes ! I've had this before ! I was tested for a mini stroke at the time ,as said you need to go get it checked out as soon as possible to rule this out ! I had MRI etc and it turns out mine was a form of migraine ( you don't have to have a headache with a migraine) I still get similar symptoms, but not as sever as that time, now its accompanied with dizziness, aura and sometimes the headache. Please go and get checked out .
