Hey all!!

I was just wondering how long it normally takes for MRI results to come back! I have stage 4 endo and they were seeing whether it had spread further. I had the scan a week ago just wondering how long it normally takes for them to get back to you after looking at the results!?

I think 3-4 weeks is normal xxx

They said two weeks to me. I'm sure it depends on how busy the department is and whether they can send out reports promptly.

Yeah I know my gynaecologist only works every second Tuesday.. so probably take a couple weeks!

Depends on the hospital, I am in the Wandsworth borough and my local hospital only did it on Tuesdays and Thursdays as it was a mobile MRI unit.

Hi I had my 5th MRI on Monday they said it takes 2 weeks for results to get to doctor who requested it, so for me that will make it about 6 weeks as it takes 4 weeks for them to write to me and the letter to arrive. Maybe quicker if you are in the trust area you had the MRI. X
