I wouldn't be able to give u an answer or direct opinion coz I have never have this happened but I was just wondering if what was the o.b. S advise about the cyst before conceiving? Was the cyst that size ok to conceive ?
I never seen an ob before i conceived and they didnt measure my cyst beforhand either, they just refused to operate because i wanted a child. Im assuming it was ok since i did manage to conceive .
Hi, I am in the same position although my cyst appeared week 9 of pregnancy it wasn't there before I had it removed in jan so was shocked there was a new one! I've had a few women message me that there's was taken out during c section and some that have said they had it taken out whilst pregnant after 20 weeks. I'm now 13weeks pregnant and have my appointment 11th aug to discuss what to do with it as mine grow fast! I've also read sometimes they will deliver the baby at 36 weeks if the cyst is too. If and stopping the baby from turning? Sorry I can't be much more help as appointment not for a few weeks! Xxx
Hi I had a 7cm chocolate cyst encompassing ovary and tube. It should have been removed but two months after an ultrasound showed a 5cm mass. I was on the ivf waiting list and since we were only after eggs from the remaining ovary it was left alone but who knows how big it got being fed by ivf drugs.
On my 12 week scan its measured 2cm. They couldn't find it on the 20week scan. Everyone guesses when it comes to endo but they think the pregnancy might be shrinking it.
Hopefully yours will be fine too and everything will stretch around as the baby grows.
I have a few stabbing pains etc but that could be that my other ovary is stuck to the UL and uterus possibly stuck to the bowel aswell.
Rehanat wishing everything will be successful pain free as possible, yes definitely will ask your o.b. If Alcantara be done safely , Your concern is definitely important pls keep us posted as it might conceive while trying to shrink my cyst on pills. They always say pills isn't always 💯 preventing pregnancy
Hi, I had surgery 11 days ago at 7 weeks pregnant, due to the size and unknown nature of my cyst I had to have laporatony procedure. to ensure no leakage. It turns out my cyst was fluid filled so nothing sinister. It was drained and removed. I was in excruciating pain with my cyst every few hours for almost two weeks before the decision was made that it had to be removed. Mine was 15cm and sitting right on top of my bladder making me need a wee very frequent. I can't explain that pain that would come on and this would last between 10-20 minutes. I felt so ill with it. I had an ultrasound 5 days after surgery and to our huge relief heard our little baby's heartbeat. I am recovering now but finding it really slow. I ache and have twinge pains and mild period like pains especially when I need to have bowel movements. I know my body is changing with it being my first pregnancy so I know some twinges and pains may be down to that. I was just hoping some others could elaborate on the recovery afterwards while pregnant. just to be reassured that all of this is normal and it's a slow process. Even just walking around the house a few times a day is zapping my energy. There's not much on the web about symptoms and actual recovery from a laporatony whilst pregnant so I was hoping for some more info.
Did you get the cyst after you got pregnant so during the pregnancy you developed the cyst or did you have it befor you got pregnant because i read that is impossible to get pregnant if you have it but it is okay if it appears during pregnancy ! I don’t think this was endometrioma cyst
Hello, I had two 6cm cysts on my left ovary and one on my right. I conceived and they disappeared during pregnancy. After breastfeeding I went onto the pill again and they have not returned. I am still currently pain free, however I know my endo could still be growing. I’m seeing the specialist again later in the year.
However, just to say pregnancy did wonders for my body (I have endo in my bladder, bowel and chocolate cysts previously in ovaries). Fingers crossed, many congratulations on the pregnancy and I hope it all goes well x
You have endo in bledder and bowel and cyst did you get pain during sex i have heard that if endometriosis in these places sex will be so difficult ? Did you get pain in your bladder and bowels ? I have it everywhere and sometimes I have difficulties pee when i pee look like drops
I gave birth to my gorgeous girl in dec- natural so didnt opt for a c section, however the pain returned 2nd month of my periods altho it wasnt bearly as bad as it had been. I havent gone on to birth control cos i want to hopefully try to conceive again end of the year which i know doesnt help me. Im seeing the specialist in july to discuss whats best.
Did you get pain that is not in the period time like it is not severe but like sharp pain but it is not strong i have this kind of pain 24/7 all the days i have frequent urination i pee but i need to pee more but I cannot. i am afraid that pain indicates a blocked Fallopian tubes especially that most of endo suffers get pain during period i have endo pain during the period but the feel of discomfort i have it even if i don’t have period like needls pain And i can discribe it as pain i get it sometimes with certain movements
