I've been back to my gynae today after surgery last year to treat endo and scar tissue. I've feel like I'm back to square one with the pain and the bleeding. After my op I was advised to take my pill for 3 months at a time and have a break, during that time the pain is getting unmanageable and the bleeding when I am on is so much heavier than before.
My gynae has given me a few options and would like some advice if anyone has had them.. the first one is to have the coil fitted which I'm pretty unsure about. The next is to have an injection every month for 3 months to see if this relieves the pain and bleeding. The last one is to have mefenamic acid and tranexamic acid once I come on.
Hopefully someone will be able to give me some advice x

So sorry to hear that you're having such a nightmare with pain, I get the injection every three months both as contraception and to help my endo pain, and it really has helped! Obviously contraception affects everyone differently but if you're looking for an easy solution that doesn't involve placing something physical in your body i would highly suggest it
