Hi I need help 😩 I had a Laparoscopy a week ago, and I know it's really early days still but I've just been to the loo ( sorry tmi πŸ˜’) and I got the same endo pain excruciating and almost brought me to tears 😭 I have just had my follow up appointment sent out which is on the 17th august so hopefully it should give me some answers.

Thankyou for listening πŸ˜„

Hi,

Sorry your still in pain but you are only a week post op, you have to remember you have just been through a major op and it will take time for your insides to heal, they will still be inflamed from surgery , I am sure things will settle down for you soon xx

Yes that's very true, I just thought with it been keyhole it wasn't that major so I thought I'd be up and on it by now, if they didn't manage to get it all would it be stated on my discharge notes ? Thankyou for replying, I've never been on anything like this so wasn't sure what to expect.

Thankyou, x

Your doctor should of told you if they got it all during the op, but remember surgery does not always get rid of the pain due to scar tissue from the surgery, hope you feeling a bit better soon, just give yourself time to heal x

Hiya, no I got discharged by the nurse and I've got a follow up with the gynecologist in august. I got discharge notes that they had found endometriosis in 4 different places, and it was treated with Lasering. X

Hopefully you will find out on your follow up appointment, it helps to write down any questions you have for the dr so you don't forget on the day x

Yes it just feels so long away, I've got so many different pains I don't know if it's all normal or not, sorry for going on I suffer with anxiety also.

I've now got raging siatica 😩

which is definitely endometriosis related.

When will it end 😦
