Does anyone suffer with rectum bleeding? I've started with real bad rectum bleeding, not just spots like literally turning the paper and pants bright red. My tummys sore

Is this related to endo?

Hi, I was just at my endo specialist today and I was telling him I am getting rectal bleeding, mine is no where as bad as yours but I don't take periods, I'm on the pill back to back. My specialist said it is probably connected to endo. Research rectovaginal endometriosis. Not sure if I am allowed to say on this site but there is a really good community on facebook called 'nancy's nook' for endo sufferers, they have great links for info on their page. X

But not just in my nickers 🤔

Thankyou I'll have a look

Yes I do but it's only related to my period and starts 4 days prior to my period with pain starting a week or so before then. I have endo inside my bowel.

I would however urgently see your GP with such large amounts of bleeding or even go to the hospital so they can find out what is happening. Good luck and I hope you find some answers

I've got an appointment with the out of hours doctor for later. Worrying me a bit with how much it is.

Thankyou xx

Hiya, I get this too and have done for a few years. I've queried it with my GP a number of times but as I have Coeliac disease they have always dismissed it as being linked too that. Now I've been told I have endometriosis I'm not so sure

I'm having this a lot lately, even losing small clots of blood and I'm starting to question if it's related.

I had polyps removed during a colonoscopy last year due so can't be sure it's not just related to that but it's happened for two months on the run now during my period and for a few days after then stops. Also have tummy pains with it.

Please let me know how you got on. I'm wondering whether to ask my gynaecologist about it next week when I'm in but don't know if it's possible for the two to be related?

Defiantly mention it To gynae!!

I've been admitted. It's turned out to be endo on my bowel.

Although mine wasn't connected with periods but I'd still mention it, just to be safe!

Yes, I think I will mention it, just wasn't sure it was possible but clearly it is!

I'm sorry it's turned out to be that but now you know what it is, I hope they can do something to help you.
