Hello. My name is Kerry an I'm 23. Can I ask why they decided to do a laparoscopy An what symptoms you have? I've been suffering for about a year now An got told I have endometriosis in October picked up by chance on an ultrasound scan. Yet I'm not being refered to a gynaecologist or anybody. Just put me on the contraceptive pill which is doing nothing. I'm having pain more frequently now.

Hi Kerry.

I was referred to a gynecologist by my GP who sent me for an ultrasound scan. When he had the results back from this he informed me he wanted to do a laparoscopy to find out more. If I were you I would ask your GP to refer you to a specialist.
