I've been in chronic pain for a while now, I've had a few doctors suggest it's endometriosis. So I've seen a specialist and am going for a lap, they have already found a cyst on my ovary and can see endometriosis on it, but as you will all know they don't know the full situation until they can see inside you! When I go to have it will I bleed?, as I'm not sure whether to bring pads or not? What's best to bring to the hospital? I want to be prepared for the worst as I never have much luck and normally have to end up staying in whenever I'm in hospital. Also any pain relief that worked for you?
Thank you!

Take pads just incase I have been bleeding prior to both my laps so I'm unsure about bleeding, loose baggy clothes, plenty pj's, book or mag to pass the time I was lucky to have amazing girls on my ward, hairbrush as both times my hair was everywhere lol, fleece or cardigan as I'm always cold especially after an op, good luck hope all goes well and you recover well xxxx
They won't be able to see endo on cyst as it doesn't show up in scans, did they say it's an endometrioma?
Hope you get your lap soon and it's done by someone who is experienced in endo. If they do find endo it needs to be excised.
It really depends what they do during your lap but go prepared with pads just in case. Take an overnight bag with comfy clothes to go home in and stiff to do as you may be hanging around before!
