I am so what distraught and utterly confused. I recently had a laproscopy and the surgeon said there was no signs of endo. But I have all the symptoms. Excruciating pain before during and after. Routine cystitis. Routine UTI's. Debilitating back and stomach pain. Bloating. Vomiting. Diarrhea. Pain when passing stool or water.o Fainting and even severe headaches arising from the extent of the pain. I miss days of work avoid any social events and for 12 days of the month I am in pain. I just don't understand how a laproscopy revealed nothing. The symptoms are physical but I'm being made to feel they are in my head. I don't know what to do or where to turn to. Do I give up and just deal with the pain or do I pursue this? I'm at a loss. I genuinely am dumbfounded. Why am in pain if it isn't endo what is this? Has anyone else had this? I just feel so depressed because I have no answer. None whatsoever... 🙁🙁🙁

Hi hun. Sorry to hear your going through such a rough time. I think you should keep a pain diary. I also think you should find out if any pics were took at your op and get hold of them the report and pathology if any taken and maybe seek a second opinion by an endo specialist if you can get hold of one and pay to see them for a consultation. Was your op done by general gynae? If so there's a chance endo could have been missed and they didn't look in all the places it could be hiding. It's a poorly understood disease and some general gynaes don't recognize it or they just barely scrape the surface when it comes to endo. Definitely pursue hun don't sit back and try to deal with it. You need and deserve answers.
I really appreciate the advice. I'm going for a follow up appointment to discuss. The gynaecologist was a general one rather than a specialist in endo. I'm going to request copies of the images and I'm going to see what else they had. I am just so confused and fed up of the pain. Do you have an idea of how much a private consultantion would cost me and who are the best specialists? Once again thanks for responding.
I think there about 150 to 200 pound for consultation. Were not allowed to discuss names on hear I will message you. Your welcome hun. Pain is awful when it affects your life. I'm sick of it myself I know how you feel x
Sickofpain1 is right keep a diary of symptoms to look for patterns and get your photos pathology reports etc. There's a Facebook page called endometropolis, you can upload your photos & see if some of the surgeons can spot something that your gynaecologist didn't. They're very experienced in endo' and really helpful. Wether it's endo or not the fact that you're experiencing all the above means that they should continue to look into the cause. Do not be fobbed off, you shouldn't have to live in pain and it is NOT in your mind...I sometimes think that's the definitive diagnosis for endo' as so many of us have got to that point of questioning ourselves because we've been ignored for so long! Don't give up xx
