So I'm in hospital and got these horrendous bruises from treatment. Any idea what I could use to help, stop them from being so sore?

Ouch that must hurt really bad.

Ice packs keep the swelling and inflamtion of bruises down, they'll also help them heal faster. If you got them from shots of some kind, I don't think it's a good idea to put any ointments on them since the skin could be sensitive or even open.

Try an Epsom salt bath, it tends to calm down pain, if you have lavender essential oil it helps with inflammation (add 4-5 drops). If you have peppermint add 1-2 drops, it contains methanol which is great for numbing pain.

Drink lots of water, it'll make it heal faster and singing can increase your oxygen intake so do that too.

I'm assuming they're on your waist? Can you wear dresses? It's helps so there's no pressure.

Stomach and legs I'm living in baggy Jamas so it's not to bad for clothes. Will try the essential oils. Love the singing tip! Haha thanks chick x

For future make sure ur skin is well moisturised. It helps me not bruise as bad when getting blood taken and that. If I've been lazy and not bothered for a week or so I bruise like u have. And they last about a week before going yellow.

Hope they go away quickly.

I like the singing advice. Do u have to supply people around u wit ear plugs if ur singing isn't up to much??? :)

I've been on bed rest a week before all this treatment so. I have been drinking water as I'm on a 2litre fluid monitor. And I use. Aloe Vera jelly. I'm having these daily So now have 7 of them horrible bruises.

The joys of trying to find what works for you. Good luck. Aloe Vera jelly is good. My mum swears by lavander but I can't handle the smell.

Got my doctor check them today and I have a blood clot in one so that's why it's so painful. Plenty of fluids and rest.
