Does anyone else loose lots of hair when washing, drying, styling or running your fingers through? Is it linked to endo? Its never really bothered me before but I've just washed my hair and lost so much more then normal. Im only on the implant and zapain/oramorph as and when needed

Hi Cupcake, I experience this too. Mine seems to go through phases whereby my hair sheds for a couple of months then settles down for a while. I read a couple of posts which said hair loss can indicate a low thyroid. This makes sense as there's a link between endo and thyroid malfunctions. It may be worth asking your GP for a blood test- google low thyroid and take a look at the symptoms. It can cause anxiety, feeling cold and feeling sluggish amongst other things. I take vitamin supplements and find that seems to help xx

Oh yes! I've been getting really hot at night, wouldn't say sweats though, just assumed as I'm in pain again it was one of those at the minute. Will keep an eye on that too - was tempted to buy one of those mattress toppers which are meant to keep you cool! X

I think this could be a side effect of the implant xxx

Hmm!! Could possibly be .... never thought of that, the patterns of it getting worse and easier fit around having/not having the implant. I've always struggled with hair loss and generally it doesn't affect me but today I lost so much more then normal and it did :(.

Hi, I have endo and used to get this really badly. I started taking coq10, omega 3, and a multivitamin about 3 months ago and in the last 6 or so weeks I've noticed I'm loosing less than half what I used to. I've also been taking a high strength vitamin D supplement for about a year which helped balance my hormones and has definitely done something to my immune system! I usually get really bad sore throats and colds but after taking it for about 3 months I started to notice I was feeling well for the first time in ages. I did a bit of research and apparently vitamin D deficiencies can cause all kinds of problems including infertility (the USA has done a lot more research into this than in the UK). It could be worth trying some supplements to see if they help x

Hi! It happened to me too and It was low anemia. Ask for a ferritin and hemoglobin test to see what are your levels. Right now I'm taking iron supplemments, but Dr said it will take some time to get it back to normal.
