I think because being pregnant stops your periods there can be some temporary relief from symptoms during pregnancy. It's not a cure though and I think endo symptoms return in most women when their periods return after pregnancy/breast feeding xx
Hi, I'm from Australia and have been suggested to have a baby as a solution to fix my endo pains by 3 gynos 2 GPs and a Dr who preformed 2 D&Cs on me. I'm 26 and was suggested by all of the above to have children before 30 years old as endo can cause damage to the reproductive organs. However from doing further research endo grows back at all ages and there really is no cure. Apparently the hormones from being pregnant are what deters the endometriosis.
I am now trying my 4th contraceptive pill (no other types of contraception's have helped) to only have 4 periods a year and reduce the hormone that grows endo.
If this pill causes me migraines and other issues as most have before my 3 solutions are to have a baby, have a full hysterectomy or try the injection to bring me into early menopause. None of which are very inviting at this current stage in my life.
