Endometriosis on ureters and Leg edema.

Hello, I was diagnosed with stage 4 endo back in 08. I was told my endo is mainly in the pouch of Douglas, ureters and bowel. I was seen at the bsge in cardiff few days ago and they've booked me in for surgery but while there I forgot to ask something so I thought I'd ask here too see if anyone else had the same problem. With endo being on my ureters could this be causing me to have edema in my right leg?

Hi. I'm under Cardiff too. Just had hysterectomy following a not good journey with endo. During this they found an endo nodule around my right ureter. I'm. It a dr but I wouldn't think the edema is linked as it's fluid leaking from blood vessels. If you want to contact them the endo nurse is great.

Have they given you a timescale for surgery?

Hello, thanks for the reply. The Dr I saw said as I had been waiting over 36 weeks to been seen he'd make sure my surgery wouldn't be too much of a long wait. So I don't really know.

Hi Lovisa, I asked my gynae the same question the other day and he said that if there is pressure on large veins within pelvic cavity then this potentially could cause leg swelling.

What surgery are you getting done? xx
