Copper coil fottied

I had the copper coil fitted today and the moment it started I was in severe pain, unfortunately I forgot to prep myself with any pain killers before hand as I forgot! I'm still in agony 6 hours after it!

Hi I used a copper coil for over 10 years before I got diagnosed with endometriosis 2 years ago. Be careful as it does cause very heavy bleeding during period. My pains settled down within a few days as I think it's your bodies way of trying to reject a foreign body. So can get mild contractions in lower stomach. I now have mirena coil in to try stop endometriosis growth and I only have mild spotting good luck hope pain settles down soon any conceres contact your doctor
