Merina Coil for Endo

hi I'm having the merina fitted later to help stop the endo get worse before my surgery. I've had it before and I think it caused cysts which were painful - has anyone had a correlation between the coil and cysts? I have adenomyosis in the lining of uterus which might make it worse?
