Hello

Yes I don't have pain with sex. If your worried about it take things slow, use lube, have open communication with your husband during it so if you need to stop you can.

I was diagnosed 12/4/17 thankfully do no have pain during sex but due to the hormone imbalance I have to use a bit extra lube.

I’ve been diagnosed, and have never had pain during sex. I sometimes spotted the day after, but I tended to spot anyway so it may not have even been the cause.

If you’re scared, just take it all very slowly and be honest with your husband, I’m sure he would understand and do everything to avoid hurting you.

Thanks for the replying

Did you have chocolate cysts ( endometrioma ) on your ovaries ?

Yes I did. I have had chocolate cysts, a tennis ball sized cyst, adhesions and endo on my bladder, bowel, peritoneum, ureters, ovaries, both pouches etc... It was quite extensive.

I’m no expert of course, but I don’t think there is a link between the severity/location and pain during sex. It’s well known that pain levels and the stage of endo isn’t linked, so would guess the same for other pain symptoms like during sex.

Has yours been diagnosed and/or excised? xx

I have been diagnosed with endometriosis 5 years ago

I know there is no link between the stage of endometriosis and the pain during sex

But I heard that sex with any kind of cysts can make the cyst burst and i have a chocolate cyst sized tennis ball so thats why i asked you did you have it or no

Thank you so much again 🥰💕

Ah got you. I didn’t know about the size until it was found and removed during my surgery, so I guess we’re in different positions as you know that it could potentially cause harm.

Hope you can get it excised/solved, and your pain eases 💛xx

I definitely have endo & I’m currently 2 weeks post laparoscopy so haven’t had sex since, but no pain for me prior to that x
