My gyro has said after laparoscopy if endorsed is found he will try prostate injections but I'm unsure about it as I would like to know about other people's experience with them. Any advice much appreciated!. Thanks xx

I've had two four month courses of Prostap and those 8 months are the only time I have been completely pain free in the last two years. Everyone's experiences are different but I didn't have any side effects and I had 8 months pain free so I only have positive things to say. X

Hiya. I had one a month for three months, my last being in September as had my op last week. I did get the odd flush now and then (but nothing compared to the hot flushes I'm getting now post op!!). I will say though, it did cause really bad insomnia. I just got used to running on empty and stuck it out as figured it was to help me in the long run.

Good luck with it all x

Hi, the best option for endometreosis is a thorough excision job done by a specialist in a bsge specialist centre,

I had the injection and I didn't really help pain, but I've since had a laparoscopy and no more endometreosis was found, but my overies where as stuck to appendix and wall, so that's why it didn't work,

I took hrt along side it, as they was thinking if removing overies, and wanted to see how I was in it,so I had no side affects apart from bed sweats, and sire breasts for the first few weeks,

Are you being seen in a bsge specialist centre, ???
