Mini pill: 2 a day

Hi,

I am currently taking Loestrin 30 but as I'm waiting for an op and have reduced movement from pain, I am wanting to go back on a mini pill (my grandmother nearly died from clots)

My new consultant advised 2 cerelle pills a day?! To stop constant bleeding I had on it before.

Has anyone else done this? Is it more effective?
