In pain in work need advice.

Hi everyone,

Last night I noticed brown discharge which was unusual for me, which was coupled with deep pain within my lower abdomen/groin. I'm currently in work now and I'm still having these deep pains and I can't put aside the strange discharge from last night. Part of me wants to just put it down to my usual endo pain but just more intense, but there's always that part of you that worries!

I'm wondering whether it would be worth a visit to the walk in centre, which is just over the road from my work. But is it worth worrying about if it's just the usual pain? Can't help but feel it's worth putting up with as a visit to the walk in may take time from someone who needs it more.

Any advice would be appreciated!

Thankyou!

Hi there. I am experiencing something similar at the moment. I have had several tests done (including a pregnancy test! No little passenger here so that's not the cause 😊) and I'm waiting on results back from swabs etc. I find I'm wiped out with it too. My doctor isn't quite sure what it is but has said it can happen sometimes with certain pills. I'm on Cerazette and apparently this can be a side effect. I've been taking it for 5 years constantly with no break due to health issues.

I'm not sure if you're on a pill so this may be of no use to you. But if you are on a pill, it might help you a little.

Best of luck x

Hiya thanks for getting in touch! I'm not on any pills but I have been trying to conceive for some months now, but I didn't think the pain would be associated with that? Did you go the walk in for these tests or see a gp/gyno? Rather than going the walk in today I may just keep an eye on myself perhaps book a doctor's appointment. X

I went to my doctor and she sent me to the nurse in her surgery for the 'usuals' (swabs, smear test etc)

If you have been trying to conceive and are now experiencing pain and discharge, I would probably see your doctor. Especially with a history of endometriosis. Better safe than sorry.

Best of luck xxxxxx

Think it's worth making a doctor's appointment by the sounds of it! Thankyou for the advice ☺x

Oh and by the way, the first thing my doctor did was a pregnancy test 😊
