Has anyone experienced this? A few days after my first Zoladex injection I felt calm and serene, I sleep well and my automatic intrusive thinking has virtually disappeared.
I have been trawling the internet and even my uni library to see if this is a thing.... Its amazing, but really odd! Is my anxiety caused by oestrogen or pain? In all honesty I suppress the pain and symptoms so much it's not surprising my mental health would improve but is there a link to hormones?
Any info greatly appreciated.
Hope everyone is having a good day xxx

I am in my 4th month of Zoladex injections and also experienced this. My mood was very low previously and I have always suffered with anxiety but within a few days of my first injection I felt brighter and more positive, amazing!
After the initial surge this waned slightly but my experience with Zoladex has been positive overall. Just a shame it's only ever a temporary solution!
Good luck with it and let us know how you get on! xx
I still feel much calmer 4 weeks on, however the GP's surgery has messed up my order so I am now post month and feeling terrible ticked off is an understatement!
Hi I was so pleased to see this post - reading at 4.30am as I can't sleep again - I'm booked in for my first injection on Monday and this has given me so much hope for all round relief, I hope I experience the same effects. May your inner peace continue :)) xx
