I am quite new here and this is my first post. I had a lap just over 2 weeks ago to excise endo from my pelvic area and I am so terrified that's it going to come back already.
I know there is no cure as such, but I wondered if anyone has any tips or success stories for anything that they think helps prevent it from coming back? I am trying to follow the endo diet as best I can but I wondered if there was anything else I could be doing?
I can count on one hand the pain free days I have had over the past few months and feel like my whole life has just been put on hold and I really don't want to have to go through this again.

Hi, whilst I know exactly how you feel, you have to believe in the best. My advise just try and stay as fit and healthy as you can and try not stress over it. Good luck.
Thank you for your reply. I am really trying not to stress over it but keep worrying about every ache and pain I have. It's literally all I have been thinking about the last few weeks but I am back in work tomorrow after 4 weeks off so hopefully that will help. Hope you have a good evening x
Have you been started on any medication, Mirena etc following your lap? X
Thank you for your reply. No, I have a follow up appointment in a couple of weeks with my consultant but myself and my husband were trying for a baby before I found out I had this so he basically said to try again after I have recovered and that should suppress the symptoms. X
Ah, I see. Many of the medications/Mirena etc which you could try to prevent your endo returning would also work as contraception so that would be no good if you're trying for a baby. I hope you are successful in trying for a baby now that you've had your lap X
How you getting on? What are your favourite recipes on endo diet. I was told by a private surgeon not to bother with the endo diet just eat healthily. Three months after surgery its back !! So trying endo diet now but its very restrictive don't you think?
