I am having my first op on Thursday but iv just come on my period and I'm worried that the endometrial tissue will have shed and they won't find anything or will they still do? Has anyone else had this happen to them?

I finished my period 2 days before my lap on Wednesday.... Best to get hold of the hospital/consultant and check. I can't imagine they wouldn't still do the op. Even if it is endo and it sheds it won't actually be able to go anywhere. They would be able to remove any blood and have it tested. X
I was having my period at the time of my lap (coming towards the end) and it was no problem. If you're concerned you could contact the hospital to check but I'm sure it won't be a problem. X
