Hello, my body took very well to the coil, I had no side effects, my periods reduced significantly and the period pain is still there but it's manageable (before the coil I had horrendous period pain + sore lower back, no painkillers could shift the pain, I had migraines with it as well). I have no migraines on my period now and even though they are a little sore I can do things. You should give it a go, if it doesn't work out then you can have it removed.
I had mine fitted in January. I have been experiencing continuos bleeding it's only just eased off now. There is a slight difference in pain but not much to be honest. Each persons experience is different my endo was stage 4 when they looked.
I had one fitted back in December, I chose that rather than the other hormone treatments available,it has done nothing for the pain but it has helped with the bleeding but I have bled off and on for the last few months I was all for having it out,but decided to give it a bit longer, everyone is different some people it really helps others hate it so it's worth a try.
