Ants - they hate cucumber, put the skins round the hole to stop them in their tracks.

Ink on clothes - put toothpaste on the ink spots generously and allow to dry fully then wash.

Shiny mirrors - clean with sprite.

Shiny hair - apply one teaspoon of vinegar to the hair and wash normally.

Onions - chew gum to stop the tears.

Cabbage odour - put a piece of bread in to the pan while you boil to absorb the odour.

Place a wooden spoon over the pan to stop it boiling over.

A comb makes the perfect nail holder while hammering.

You can shrink a pimple in minutes by putting a dab of Listerine on it, the alcohol dries it up and fades it.

Headaches/migraines - submerge hands and feet into warm water and apply a bag of frozen peas on to the base of the skull, the warm water draws the blood away from the head reducing/eliminating pain.

Sore throat - eat 3/4 marshmallows, scientifically proven the gelatin relieves irritation soothing pain.

Puffy eyes - dip cotton balls into cold milk and place on eyes for 15 mins.

*we all need a jar of natural honey;

Constipation - x2 teaspoons each of honey and lemon juice mixed into a glass of warm water drank first thing on an empty stomach.

Sleep - a daily spoonful or two of honey taken before bed can help you sleep better AND help you to lose weight at the same time.

Hair - apply honey to split ends before washing, it also seconds as a natural moisturiser for the hair too.

Nutella cookies;

1 cup of nutella

1 whole egg

1 cup flour

Bake for 6-8 mins @350

Cleaning the microwave put a bowl of water on for 2-3 mins the steam lifts everything and it just needs a wipe.

Use a ring pull from a can to off-set hangers doubling your hanging space.

Teas;

Chamomile - before bed, when your angry

Chai - sluggish, stomach ache

Oolong - burning fat, acne breakout

Peppermint - headaches, achy

Green tea has so many uses

~ when tired, sick, weight loss, before bed speeds up metabolism

~ if you hate it you can put them in to your bath, 5-10 bags detox the body and provides a bounty of vitamins to the skin

  • Thanks that was really useful especially the constipation and migraine tip which I suffer quite Abit with

  • Flax seed and olive oil are also good for constipation. Camomile and spearmint tea is good for soothing tummy.

    Let me add one more,   Brew several bags of Chai Tea, cool down

    and use as a rinse on dark hair.  Makes your hair shiny as well as

    bringing out a beautiful brunette color.
