I have recently been diagnosed with Pcos I haven't had a cycle since 26th December

I went to the doctors and she prescribed me metformin, to which I have been taking but nothing has happened so she put me on utovlan. (1 tablet 3 times a day for a week). Nothing has happened.

I have been getting serve pain in my abdomen and lower. It's like someone is stabbing me. I went to the doctors today and she has prescribed mefenamic acid and codine. She said she doesn't know what the pain is and can't do anything else for me. I feel lost and don't know where to turn.

Anything I do is causing my pain to get worse.

Any suggestions

Thanks
