Hi Nor37, Last Jan I had a Hystorectomy because my fibroid was so big it needed to be removed as it sat on my bladder, anus and cervix it was causing me loads of problems. When I eventually plucked up the courage to have the op they removed a fibroid one and a half times the size of a new born babies head. I didn't have any injections and I didn't bleed as I had stopped my periods. Mine should have shrunk going into the menopause but instead it grew but was benign. I have a scar from belly button to my pubic area. I gather you are under a specialist and your endo is also causing you discomfort, when you next sit down with the specialist ask him all your options and see if anything else can be done. I don't know if laser would help to shrink it. Take care Nx
Thanks N I'll do that. I've been having heavy bleeding since the starting of periods. My dr suggested hysterectomy as i have thin blood, it doesn't clot quick enough. The prostap injections were supposed to stop my periods. Ironically they came twice this month.
