Morning ladies, have been having the above for about a month and noticed (somehow!) the pain has been significantly reduced; what is the longest time anyone's been on Prostap as I know it's only supposed to be for six months...
Thanks

I had 4 months on Prostap and felt great. No noticeable side effects and my pain disappeared. I think 6 months is the recommended maximum period to have this medication X
Hi, I got really good results from being put into a chemically induced menopause to. I was on it for six months before trying for a baby.
Interestingly for me it took nearly a full year for the drug to leave my system so even when I came off it symptoms did not return immediately.
If I ever opt to go back on it I am going to ask my consultant about cycling it, six months on, six months off as full symptoms didnt return immediately.
After the jab it took over three months for my periods to come back and five months for me to start ovulating.
That first period was pretty painful on the first day when it did arrive, it felt like my body was trying to kick start itself, that was the only downside.
Good luck with your treatment x
Thanks guys....I figured it was six months; the pain has not gone completely but I've noticed so far that the really bad, disabling days are fewer this month than last (having now been on it for three weeks).
Cheers
