What to expect.....

Hi everyone

I have suspected Endo and have appointment to see a Endo specialist in April and i was just wondering if anyone can give me a bit of insite of what to expect for the first appointment

HI there

You will be probably asked to fill in a questionnaire re pain sypmtoms etc

They may want to do an internal exam to maybe feel for nodules ,adhesions ,they may also request you have a scan of some description ,although my consultant never did .

Go armed with all of your symptoms pain etc and if they feel it is appropriate you may be consented to a diagnostic laparoscopy in the future .

I hope this helps in some way but of course I am only going on what I have experienced

Thank you. I had a ultrasounds a few weeks ago and i have 1 ovarian cyst and a cyst on my uterus which at the ultrasound they said it looks like Endo. but will have to wait and see.
