Hello ladies,
First post to the site as a newly diagnosed Endometriosis sufferer, looking for a bit of reassurance please.
After months of typical GP fob offs and some rather hilarious appointments to discuss my 'sciatica' and 'pyschological diagnosis', I finally had an appt with a wonderful locum GP who instantly referred me to a Gyno.
Had my laparoscopy on Weds, and woke up to be told my insides are a complete mess. One particular thing that my surgeon mentioned was not being able to remove all of the endo.
Discharge notes state 80% of endo removed from right tube (blocked) and ovary (scarred) but the left side was too risky due to 'lost' tube and ovary.
Some technical jargon followed with roughly translates to the surgeon thinks the tube and ovary are in my bowel?
Has anybody else had a case of missing ovaries and tubes, or was I maybe only born with one side/the left did a runner when the going got tough?!
Any similar stories or advice on this would be appreciated.
xx Hannah
