Restlessness

I'm constantly restless at the moment and it is really frustrating me. My legs are the worst I can't stay still and I'm wondering if it is an effect of any of the medication I am on or anything?? It's really annoying me :(:(:(

Hi Chloe, it could very well be the Zoladex. it could also be the hrt it could take some time to settle down. If things don't settle within the the next few weeks go back to GP and and see if they can help. Hope you're ok.

Yeah I know the feeling. They never tell you all the facts. I was told I might get a few hot flushes and that was it. I knew there was more to it than that so actually did some research on line to find out more. Do you get severe constipation at all? I now have to take Laxido every day just so that I can go. Not had a good week had a bad flare up, think most of the pain was due to bowel involvement. Broke down in front of boss and told him I can't cope with doing all the overtime at the moment( colleague off sick since Christmas), he's finally getting agency in. Thank god.

That's all I was told?? Yeah I do but I always have done before I started taking this. I trusted my surgeon as she finally gave me my lap and so I just trusted her and it all got started very sudden. At least he is being understanding!! My college kicked me out!! Xx

That's awful why? I don't regret having the Zoladex as things have been a lot better. But saying that I'm a lot older than you so the some of the risk are as important for me. Before I started on the Zoladex I would be constipated but could still go, would have severe diarrhoea whilst on period. Started on the Zoladex and couldn't go at all. Got to the point where I couldn't eat or drink anything. So tried over the counter laxatives but didn't really help. Since I've been taking the Laxido I go every day it's great. Do you have trouble sleeping?

When I was on Laxido I had problems sleeping. I would just be dropping off to sleep and I would jerk myself awake. This would go on for about 3 hours. Is this what happens with you. I changed to Lactulose and it hasn't happened since and I go to the toilet every day. My endo was on pouch of douglas but removed by excision 3 weeks ago.

Maybe I will leave it then. I've had lactulose before and it doesn't help me at all. Yeah been thinking mine is also on my pouch of douglas. I have all the symptoms to suggest recto vaginal endometriosis xx

I can't go at all anyway. Had trouble since I was younger so they are looking at recto vaginal endo now hopefully. I have al lithe symptoms. But knowing it can worsen constipation anyway isn't good, especially when she knew I had trouble with my bowel anyway. Did you get that from your GP?? And yes I really do it's horrible xx

Yeah just ask you GP if you can try it there is also movicol , I think that's how you spell it. Not tried that though. I can't actually remember the last time I slept properly. The other thing I've found is that I seem to wake up with bruises that take about two - three weeks to go. How come college kicked you out?

ChloeWilson profile image
ChloeWilson in reply toJeanOsborne

Yeah been on movicol too. Yeah I e woke up with a couple of bruises. They didn't like the time I was having off as I couldn't move off my couch. It resulted in me being taken by ambulance to the hospital on a morphine drip because of the pain. They were just not understanding at all. It was horrible xx

That is so unfair it's not like you asked to have this awful disease. People who don't have endo just don't seem to be able to understand how hard it is for us and how it impacts on our lives. But we will stick together and we will beat this. Don't forget if you need to talk I'm here Hun .
