I had a baby in October and I opted for implanon as a contraceptive and to prevent the reoccurrence of my endo adeno symptoms. The thing is I've been bleeding non stop for 2 weeks. I know this can be normal and it's not painful in anyway but my aim was to try to stop my periods altogether and I'm worried that this prolonged bleeding could be flaring up my adeno (endo of the womb lining) again. I want to try and preserve my uterus for baby number 2 which we plan to try for once I've finished my doctorate degree in 3 years time (although I feel very blessed to even have one child with my history). Does anyone have any insight about prolonged bleeding on implanon? Could I have made a mistake?
