I took a pregnancy test earlier and it came up one line & half of a line it's kind of faint but can make out half a line does anyone no if that's positive? I'm on the jag but it says you can get pregnant on the jag & I have been getting signs.

If any line shows its positive (false pos very unlikely). Usually this happens when you are very early on - 4wks or less. Give it a few days to a wk and test again. If you are pregnant then the line will get darker. If there's been a prob with implantation into the womb lining the test will show negative - known as a chemical pregnancy. Don't know much about contraceptive injection but I have a friend who got preg twice whilst on the pill so I guess it's possible! Congrats xx

You need to do the test with first morning urine - when hcg is most concentrated. 2bh I've never heard of half a control line appearing either but faint line for positive result very normal in early preg before things get going! Give it a day or two at least and use a clear blue test as most reliable xx

I had the same thing happen 3 years ago.. a very faint line. I thought it a defective test and tried again about 4 or 5 days later. It was very clearly positive the second time. My daughter will be 3 in March.

Nurse prob won't tell you any different - I act had my gp refuse to do a preg test as at home ones are as reliable. Ask them about the injection though - how long it takes to come out of your system/any risks to the baby. They might do a blood test for you as this is much more accurate in very early preg.

You'll prob not see a strong positive until 5 weeks if preg test showing up faint now, only other thing it could be is an evaporation line.
