No, but my hairdresser manages to turn it a brassy blonde most times!

I'm a ginger! Haven't heard that one before. I'm told most women with endo are slim and gorgeous. Can't say I'm either! 😉

Me neither! I would say thinning ratty tail hair, bloated and wrinkled through years of wincing and frowning my way through the pain! Much prefer the red headed, slim & gorgeous option!! X

Brilliant jvg69 totally agree no red hair for me, but brunette and voluptuous ;)

Lucky you Skt68 I have been cursed with my mothers flat chest, which just adds to my general lack of appeal! lol!!

My consultant mentioned it and if you Google it there is quite a lot on it !

I'm a red head and have read up on this before. There is a lot of links with health related issues and red hair. We need more

anaesthetic due to high resistance to the stuff. And red heads have a higher pain threshold. (We're probably just too stubborn to give in to pain, and being knocked out by the anaesthetic!)

:-) x

I'm ginger too. Gingery blonde, although time has faded it somewhat. diagnosed with bilateral enfometriomas at age 53 after investigations for mildly raised ca 125, (39) and scanned. Had heliobacter pylori at time of investigation. Asymptomatic most of time. Was a bit of a surprise!

Auburn but def not thin and gorgeous! Red heads have a higher tolerance to hot spices too.

Oh no, I'm obviously an exception to that rule, I DIE if I eat a bit of lettuce that was briefly touching a jalapeño- true story!! Fell apart in a restaurant and had to ask for water *cringe* my friends of course found it hilarious!!! 😖

I'm a redhead and I also have an aunt with red hair who also suffered severe endo. There are many health issues that can be linked to red hair and I had read before that there could be a link. If there is there is unfortunately nothing we can do about it I suppose!!

I'm ginger too.

I'm a (natural) blonde but with a lot of red/copper (a hairdresser called me strawberry blonde the other week! Erm no...) slim, small, with suspected endo. I'm awaiting my pre lap consultation at the mo. Would be v interesting if there were a link with the red gene... perhaps blondes and reds are more prone? My auntie had advanced endo and she was a blonde. My mum didn't have endo and she was a brunette before she went grey. Interesting!

Well this is facinating! Quite alot of us red heads on here. I am very pale with freckles and strawberry blonde hair, not a proper ginger really ! But it's supposed to be the red head gene that's related. As others have mentioned it's also related to other health problems also. Strange creatures we are ☺

I'm mousy brown, two of my friends have the same colour too.

Although I have red heads in my family. None of them suffer with endo.

Small - but defo not slim or gorgeous - dumpy, with bloated belly and frizzy hair. :-D xx

Haha, wish I had red hair, it's gorgeous :) mine is dark brown, although I suppose I have coppery highlights in summer. There is a red hair gene floating around my mum's side of the family, maybe my hair is one dominant brown, one recessive red. Possibly stretching a bit though!

The slim thing is to do with the fact that you're significantly more likely to end up with endo if you're underweight in childhood/adolescence, according to some research. I was anorexic for a long time so I fit that bill anyway. And then the gorgeous part is supposedly to do with the influence of high levels of estrogen being correlated with having more typically female traits, but I'm pretty sure I don't fit that part!

GAP (ginger and proud) with endo here. Defo high pain threshold, cant tolerate hot spices though. Terrible resistance to anaesthetic - dentist has to inject me 3 times before I'm numb x

Nope I'm Asian

With pale brown skin but dark brown hair

No red head in me

Although I'd love to have those tones

So much brown is boring :p
