Really Struggling

I'm 20 and was diagnosed with endo a year and 3 months ago. I had the coil put in during the operation, which took 6 months to 'settle' and regulate my periods.

The past couple of months my period has got worse and I feel like its 1 step forward and 2 steps back right now.

It's horrible as I don't really know anyone else with the condition so it's hard for people to understand what I'm going through.

Any tips on pain management? (I can't take codeine or Tramadol and paracetamol isn't cutting it)

Was it the Mirena coil you had put in? I had that in 2012 and it was horrific. Did not help with the pain one bit and it just did not agree with me. Had it taken out and am now on the pill which is so much better for me.

There are a number of things you can do with your diet to try help the pain but it can be very restrictive. Have you spoken to your GP about prescription pain meds? I'm on co-codamol but that's codein based so won't help you. I agree that paracetamol is more like a sweetie for us chronic painers.

Best of luck.
