There is no known cure for endometriosis but some people get help from some drugs. With your IBS you need to think about your diet, many women have found relief from not only their IBS but their Endo through diet. Eat anti inflammatory foods, plenty of good fresh organic veg, reduce the red meat. See a nutritional therapist that specialises in endometriosis. See endometriosis.co.uk

Best wishes

*edit* when I wrote this I was referring to a spam comment that has been removed, I wasn't talking about ccfd9 who is the new first commenter!

I would never normally do this, but I'm afraid the first comment sounds a bit like a fake spam profile - there's so much presumption and incorrect advice in there. I'd be happy to be proven wrong, but even if it is a real person that's an incredibly insensitive way to talk to someone who is looking for help. Anxiety and depression can worsen IBS, but so can endo - after having an IBS diagnosis since I was your age, I've had no symptoms since my endo was excised, so turns out it was nothing to do with my mental health. And actually, since my operation my depression has drastically improved as well - it's such a relief knowing what's going on isn't all in my head, and I'm sleeping better because of the reduction in pain/IBS symptoms.

If your doctor thinks endo might be likely, the next step is getting referred to a specialist endo centre. They will (hopefully) try to diagnose you through laparoscopy, remove as much as possible, and give you medical advice on how to manage the condition. Some people find dietary changes helpful, some people find hormone treatment helpful, everyone finds different things helpful - there's no straight forward answer unfortunately. There are some other really good support groups on Facebook if you have a look, I'm not sure if we're allowed to name them on here but you can find loads just searching for endo!
