I'm feeling so tired at the moment. Feeling really low with it. How does everyone else cope with endo tiredness, any tips? X

Extremely tired
I guess the best advice I could give is not to concentrate on what you can't do, but try to focus on what you can, however minor that may be. I've chronic fatigue for over 10 years so I can sympathise greatly with you. Sometimes I'd just have these glimmers of energy and go and grab them and subsequently overtire myself and be back at square one. You always need to try and finish the day with spare energy left in the tank! I know it can make you feel really low, but even if you only get to have a shower, wash and dry your hair nicely and that's it, focus on that what you have managed. Give in to rest when you need it and don't beat yourself up for what you can't do. I've battled for years with fatigue and understand your frustration, but you get even more frustrated when you focus on what you can't do. I know! Tomorrow is always another day, if today isn't so good, rest up and perhaps you may have get a little relief next day - there is unfortunately no pattern to it. Try and not get too low, I know it's very hard but we're all behind you. The nature of the beast means they'll be up and down days, and sometimes the down days feel relentless. They will be up days. Take care.
Thank you so much for your message, that is a big help to me. Had a better day today thankfully so you are definitely right in what you say about good and bad days. Just need to keep going with it! Thank you x
