Hi. Im 33 and 4 weeks ago i had my laparoscopy and dye in my tubes and i was diagnosed with severe endo. I have it all over my bowel, both ovaries and front and back of my womb. Im devastated as i have always wanted a family. My consultant came to see me after the operation to say that he had managed to laser a small amount but i need to go back in for another procedure where they will open me up and laser as much as possible. He told me my tubes are clear which is good but he said our only hope of conceiving is IVF. I need to lose 5 stone to have IVF so i know i have a long journey ahead. Can anyone give me any hope to conceiving naturally after being diagnosed with severe endo? I have my second consultation in 4 weeks time to discuss what they found and where we go from here.

Thanks

Hi, I was diagnosed with severe endo 9 years ago, severe in that it very angry and aggressive looking and was on every conceivable surface.

I had a lot of chemical pregnancies and didn't even know, down to hormones and what endo does at a chemical level, I was led to believe at my old hospital. My tubes were clear. I am now a mother and have had more deep infiltrating endometriosis removed since my son's birth that was troubling me for years before I got pregnant. Please don't worry. Your best bet is to find out exactly why they think you must have IVF. I was unknowingly pregnant at the appointment where I was confronted with the fact that I was thought to be infertile, and wanted to let you know there's hope.

Hi, I got pregnant at your age after very similar stage 4 diagnosis and being told no chance unless IVF but I got pregnant without it very quickly with just fertility injection. Good luck ..,,
