Can someone help with a query I have please when a specialist has put you forward for a pelvic and abdo MRI with contrast and Buscopan for mapping purposes what does that mean? What sort of things will he be looking for? What sort of things will an MRI pick up?
Thanks xx

Hi. It's just as Lindle just said. They give you Buscopan IV to help calm your bowels down so they don't move around too much as this can cause blurring on the images. Expect a cannula when go in - just while you have the scan. X
