Period after injections

Hey ladies

How quickly have your periods returned after you have finished a course of depo injections?

I was on them for 11 months and finished end of June and I've woken up with spotting today and period like symptoms - is this my period?

I'm in a bit of a panic as supposed to start IVF on day 2 (I've been told it's day 2 of a heavy bleed so spotting doesn't count - is that right?) - in a slight state of panic as was assuming my period would take a few months to return so feel completely un-IVF prepared! xxx
